How do I connect to Wi-Fi?

1. Open the Network Settings
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar at the bottom-right corner of the screen. It looks like a small signal wave.
- If you don’t see it, click the upward arrow (^) to expand hidden icons.
- Alternatively, open Settings by pressing Windows + I, then navigate to Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. View Available Networks
- In the Wi-Fi menu, you’ll see a list of available networks.
3. Select Your Wi-Fi Network
- Click the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
- Check the box Connect automatically if you want your PC to connect to this network in the future.
4. Enter the Password
- If the network is secured, a password prompt will appear.
- Type the password and click Next.
5. Verify Connection
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar will show a filled signal.
- You can hover over the icon to see the network name and status.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Incorrect Password: Double-check the password and ensure you entered it correctly.
- Network Not Showing:
- Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled (check the switch in the Wi-Fi settings).
- Restart your PC and router.
- Driver Issues: Update your network drivers via Device Manager:
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter, and choose Update driver.
